8th Annual Snowshoe Scramble --
Traditionally this race is held Saturday morning of the Martin Luther King weekend and has been the first race of the season for the Granite State Snowshoe Race Series.

Sadly, the Race Series has been discontinued and due to warm temps and rain, this event was rescheduled to February 17. Mother Nature was not kind to us in January.

The morning was sunny, no wind, but temps were in single digits just prior to 10 am race start. Rich Patrick was the first to cross the finish line in 0:26:10. Kyla Brustin was the first woman to finish with a time of 0:34:39.

It was a great race followed by great food from Big Dave's Deli and $200 worth of gift certificates to present.

THANK YOU...
Post race bagels, soup and and beverages supplied by Big Dave's Deli.

Thank you to the following businesses for their prize and gift certificate donations: Stonehurst Manor, Eastern Mountain Sports, Moat Mountain Smokehouse, Flatbread, McGrath's Tavern, and Barley and Salt Tap House.
